I suffer fro MDD. Four days ago I titrated to 100 mg. how long should I stay at this to see if it has a Theraputic effect?Bobby
Hi, bobby! Lamictal (lamotrigine) is relatively fast acting and most people begin seeing results in 4-6 weeks although you may start feeling subtle changes much sooner. Each dosage increase should be continued for at least 1-2 weeks before making any decisions about it's efficacy.
Be patient. Depending on how long you've been taking it in total you may be feeling much better soon.
Best wishes, WCV
