any itchiness should be reported to your Dr. Although generally benign, amoxicillin belongs to a class of drugs that some people are allergic to.
You side effects of itchiness and joint pain may be nothing, but they may also signify an allergic response. When your Dr.s office opens, call and tell them about the side effects you are having. They would rather get a call than have a patient have a problem.

Yes, good advice. The doctor will call in another medication for you as you should not keep taking Amoxicillin. In the meantime, you can try the Sarna Anti-Itch Lotion which helped me some when I had the same allergic reaction.
