Please tell me your experience
I feel your desperation, it's a horrible experience to put it mildly, being depressed and anxious in the clinical sense.
ARE you seeing a counselor? Please answer my query, tis important.
My depressive and panic attack incident was over twenty years ago, so I'm trying to recall it all. I was prescribed Pamelor, an old tricyclic antiD. In my recollection, it do believe it worked within ten days, BUT that is because I EXPECTED it to work! Our minds can do great things, we can psyche ourselves into almost anything, or psyche ourselves our of something, too.
I believe (just my opinion) that if you expect a med to work, it will work! If you expect a med to not work, it will not work for you. I know you've been trying for so long to feel better, just try to think that Paxil, or whatever med you've just been prescribed, WILL work. That mindset is so very important.
I mean no disrespect when I tell you this, that I promise. I'm just concerned.
