I've been on my period for about 6 months and I feel tired all the time, my thoughts don't make since etc. Someone please tell me how long it takes to get out of me so I can be back to normal!
It can take anywhere from months to years. Everyone is different. The first time I tried to come off it, I suffered heavy bleeding for best part of 2 years, & my hormones were all over the place.
The second time, someone told me about Agnus Castus. It's a herbal remedy that naturally balances your hormones. It got me back into much lighter, monthly cycles, within a month or two. I still take it now, for PMS relief. Highly recommend trying it. You can get it online or from a health store.
You CANNOT take it if you are using hormonal contraception. Otherwise, there are no side effects.
Hope that helps.
It is known as Vitex/Chasteberry/Chaste Tree, too.
I get the tincture (liquid) & put it in a little juice each day. I use the A. Vogel brand, but there are lots of good quality ones if you can't get that one.
