Concerta has a short half life of around 3.5 hours ( the time it takes for the plasma level to fall by half) meaning it is eliminated quickly.
It usually takes around 5 to 6 half lives for a drug to be eliminated therefore after 24 hours it should have disappeared.
Factors that also affect the rate at which it is eliminated include age, health, weight, metabolism etc.
