Do you mean how long is a scheduled 2 controlled drug script good for? Or how long is a schedule 2 controlled drug good for in the bottle? As far as scripts, some you need to fill in 90 days and some can be filled in 6 months. If you have had a script laying around for a while and you are wondering if it can still be filled, call your pharmacist. they can tell you better what the limitations are. As far as drugs in a bottle, and this really pertains to all drugs, they should be tossed one year after the dispensation date. So a drug filled today would be considered expired after 2/27/2013. Does that answer your question?
