Hello Gemini3. Buspar (Buspirone) is perscribed for GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). It is not a benzodiazepine and so takes longer than the benzodiazepine family of drugs to work. You might begin to feel some results depending on your dose within a week or more. Im afraid that you'll have to be patient, for it does take almost four weeks time to work to its full capability. What did you experience when first starting buspar? How long until it levels out? I feel kinda flat?
