Hello Gemini3. Buspar (Buspirone) is perscribed for GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). It is not a benzodiazepine and so takes longer than the benzodiazepine family of drugs to work. You might begin to feel some results depending on your dose within a week or more. Im afraid that you'll have to be patient, for it does take almost four weeks time to work to its full capability.
