I have been taking belviq for about 2 years. When I started taking belviq K weighed 148 lbs. Now I weigh 134 lbs. My goal weight is 118 lbs. However my insurance will not pay for belviq anymore & my doctor will not prescribe it anymore. What do I do?
Ask your Dr. for another weight loss drug. There are many and maybe s/he will be willing to prescribe one of them that is less costly. Your pharmacist can look over all of the medications you are taking and recommend some that are safe for you to take. However, some Drs. don't receive suggestions well so you be the judge on that. I can see a Dr. possibly appreciating the value of having had a pharmacist review all of your meds. Good luck to you in your weight loss journey!
