I was taking Amrix ER, switched to Flexaril, big mistake, lots of pain. How long does the Amrix ER stay in your system as far as a drug test?
How long will Amrix ER show up in a drug test?

I was taking Amrix, asked my doctor to change me back to Flexaril, she didn't want to but did. Major pain on Flexaril but now my doc is on vacation. I have some Amrix I can take but am not supposed to have it, it belonged to someone else in my family. Will they be able to tell the difference in the Amrix and Flexaril with a drug test? Thanks, I am worried. Amrix has to be special ordered here but Flexaril doesn't, that's why I thought a change would work but boy, was I wrong. Horrible pain from waist on down due to a lot of problems.
They dont usually test for cyclobenzeprine (active ingredient in both Amrix ER and Flexeril) because it is not a controlled substance BUT some pain docs test for antidepressants and cyclobenzeprine is related chemically to the tricyclics and sometimes will put out a false positive for tricyclics but it is likely to be no big deal since they are not controlled drugs either. It is mainly controlled drugs that they are most concerned with in drug testing.
