I had a surgery in which one dr prescribed percocet and the other Vicodin. I started with the Vicodin and they are out. I know you shouldnt mix the two so how long should I wait to start the Percocet?

Percocet is a little stronger than Vicodin. I would of started with that first. You might want to ask for a refill instead of going a stronger pain medication. Read instructions on the bottle. Usually they can be taken 6-8 hours apart. The pharmacist would be the best one to ask if you can not talk to the doctor.
They do not conflict, if you want to be safe wait 18 hours before switching, but in normal doses there's really no issue.
