Hi Kate (?), after 9 hours you will well be able to drive but I worry that you may suffer from initial withdrawal after 9 hours.
Most people are not as responsible as you are but if you are badly affected by your normal dose, it may be best to suffer a bit in the morning but if only mildly affected try half a dose as soon as you get up before you go out.
Yes, you should have no problem you well know for sure this is why it's always good to take a new medication when yu are at home to see how you react to it. Also, remember the first dose many times hits your system harder but you should be just fine to drive after this length of time
