how long is the affect from sertraline? would it be a full 24 hours?
Hi Patience Boy someone sure left you in the dark..I don't really understand the question..i am guessing you just started this medication does not make any difference on the mg..I well try the doctor should have talked to you or the pharmicist more..NORMAL USE IS one tablet daily at the time on the bottle normal is morning or bedtime EVERY DAY sometime you notice a change in some symptoms in a week or two but you have to be on this medication for 6 to 8 weeks to reach a full blood level sometimes the doctor may have to increase it at that time or 4 or 5 weeks... it does work great for most people now you be aware you just can't stop it you have to taper it down just like you did when you started it and it can take much longer to go off of it because of the wierd side effects Now please if this does not answer what you want im. me or just post another if this answer leaves questions... now if there was paper work in the bag with your prescription you can read it there should have been but by the time you read it too many people take it as fact and think they are going to get all of the side effects with sertraline it is well tolerated by most..Have a great day..Chuck1957
