Is this every month? How long have you been on this pill? Are you taking it at roughly the same time each day? Are you late or missing pills? If you have just started, it is not unusual to have some breakthrough bleeding. that should straighten out in time-after you have been on the pill several months. Sometimes if you are sporadic in taking the pill, either not taking it at the same time or missing pills or taking them late, you can also get breakthrough bleeding. Can you give me some more background?
I have been on this birth control for about 8 months now and have 2 periods a month as well. They don't last very long though -about 2 or 3 days usually. I normally have one when I'm supposed to (with the white pills) and then one about 1.5-2 weeks before that. I have not asked my doctor about it and the birth control seems to work so I am not too concerned about it.
I've been on lo loestrin fe for almost two months and I have had a really irregular period too. I have had 3 periods without even finishing one pack of pills.
