Recently I had sex with my boyfriend. He did ejaculate but pulled out. I've been taking Loestrin since last September and I'm on day 6 of the current month's pack. Should I be concerned or will I be safe?
Why do you girls think pulling out offers any protection??? Sorry, just had to get that out there! Men secrete sperm all throughout the sex act so pulling out is not really helping and it is difficult for most men to do properly. If you have been on the Pill consistently since September without any missed pills recently then you should be protected from pregnancy even if he did ejaculate inside you! Once you are through a full cycle of one pack of pills for three weeks and the period on the fourth week, then you are protected from getting pregnant after that even on your "off pill week". The only reason to continue to use condoms at this point is to prevent STDs. So you should be safe, no worries! As long as you take your pills as directed preferably around the same time each day without a miss, you are protected against pregnancy so enjoy your sex life and dont worry so much! Pills were designed so women could enjoy sex without fears of getting pregnant. You need to be vigilant enough to take them properly but after that just enjoy yourself!
