... period its been ten days and im still on it is that normall? im not sexually active and my doc told me to take it on my first day when i started my period
Yes. A prolonged period is not uncommon. It can take several cycles for your body to adjust to the hormones and during this time you may experience changes in your menstrual cycle (prolonged or shortened) and breakthrough bleeding. Continue to take the pills as directed and you will continue to have contraceptive cover.
If the bleeding does not stop or gets very heavy then see your doctor.
