... risk of pregnancy at all ?? I have been taking Loestrin for almost 5 months and been pretty regular but the week Im suppose to take the inactives, I dont want to/cant be on my period. Figured I would take the actives during the "inactive" days and wait a week to take the inactives. I know that means I might have another period within the 24 day period but dont want to risk being on my period during those specific days.
Just start a new pack instead of taking the inactives. You may have some slight spotting, but since you have been on them for 5 months, this should allow you to skip the cycle this months. You can occasionally skip a cycle this way. Take them exactly as you would regularly, all the active pills in the new pack in order right down to when you should start your new packs inactives and then you will have your cycle the next month.
