You can stop birth control pills anytime you want. It is best for your cycle to take a full pack and stop taking after your last week of active pills. Do remember that once you stop taking the pill, you return to fertility so if you dont want to get pregnant, you will need to use another form of birth control. If you want to try to have a baby, they recommend that you go off the pill then use a non-hormonal form of birth control (like condoms and spermicidal foam) for 6 months to be sure all of the artificial hormones are out of your body.
