Your dietary recommendations will depending on how well your liver is working. It is very important to be under the care of a doctor, because malnutrition can lead to serious problems.
It is likely that you will be able to eat meat and fish but you will probably need to limit your intake - check with your doctor or dietician.

Protein, animal or vegetable is an important part of the diet. General recommendations are 1.5 grams per kilo of bodyweight per day (1 pennyweight per 2.2 pounds). I'm 85 Kgs and have a daily intake of around 130 gms (just over a quarter pound = ~114gms).
