I was given RX for "zolpidem (AMBIEN CR) 12.5 MG CR tablet" and I cannot afford it.
I can tell you what I take is melatonin extended release. That is 8.99 for a months worth at walmart. This one is otc
Amitriptyline is another one used a lot and that is on the $4 lists of several pharmacies.
Generic ambien is around 6 with discounts. Most docs don't like to prescribe this for long term
They are using seroquel a lot but that drug is one with some bad side effects and way more expensive.
There are many otc ones, but they can be more then the prescription ones.
although benadryl is used and that is otc. It can cost from 6-10 depending where you buy it.
