I was given a small 6 sided round blue pill which I'm told is Lisinopril 10-12.5. It has LL on one side and 108 on the other. I can't find this pictured anywhere either on drugs.com or google. Can anybody tell me what it is I am taking and who makes it?
Hi, I would think twice before starting a BP med.. One like lisinopril can cause an irreversable need for the drug.. You would be amazed how easy it is to lower your bp on your own naturally. Try reading the book "the blood pressure cure" Its avail on amazon.. I went from spikes of 160/110 to a consistant 120/70 in 2 months. The guide lines for what is "normal" for BP have also changed dramatically this year. Funny how docs dont mention that. However, if your BP is extremely dangerous, you have to do what you have to do but thats a low dose of lisinopril.. In my opinion its garbage though. Be careful..
You are taking a combination pill of both lisinopril (10 mg) and hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg).
Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention. Lisinopril is in a group of drugs called ACE inhibitors. ACE stands for angiotensin converting enzyme. Lisinopril lowers blood pressure and also relieves symptoms of fluid retention. Hydrochlorothiazide and lisinopril is a combination medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).
I found it by identifying the writing as LL B01, which looks like 108 upside down. I find the advice of the other person intriguing and I want to look into it since I, too, am on a low dose statin drug for BP.
