I had surgery for the regurgitation in heart, a ring of sorts was put in to help the open and closing of the vaule.I was put on Lisinopril 10mg to help blood flow in heart.
Hi Stressed 2, Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor and it is normally given to patients with some form of heart failure, I rejected lisinoprol and now take Benicar which is an ARB. Bystolic is both a beta blocker and an ARB, and only you doctor can tell you which medication is better for your condition. I took Metoprolol before my heart attack and was told that I would never again be able to use that medication. I have had allergic reactions to other ARB because they contain potassium and Benicar does not and my body was use to the medication from before making a lower dose very easy to tolerate.
