I notice I'm getting full faster, but I'm I'm not really seeing any weight loss. I've been on this for 3 weeks
I was given a sample of the Saxenda to try because I am grossly overweight (283 lbs, 5'4", and a BMI of 54). the sample lasts for 17 days considering the change in daily doses. After three or four days I started to feel a little nausea, but it subsided after a week's usage. Because of all my weight and body pains from other health issues I was unable to exercise. My diet changed in the regard that I ate less because I felt full all the time off of just two or three tablespoons of food. After the completion of the 17 days I had lost a total of 11.6 lbs.
I had no problem with the medication and my doctor was very pleased as well because we have been trying to find something that would work for me for five years. I am no longer on the Saxenda because my insurance company will not cover it and the cost to me is $1380.00 which I cannot afford. I have been off of the Saxenda for sixty days now and I have maintained the 11.6lbs weight loss because I still have a feeling of fullness after two or three tablespoons of food.
I hope that you will give the Saxenda a try again. Each of us lose weight at different intervals and by different methods. Give it a little while longer, I only wish I had an insurance that would cover the Saxenda for me as I was greatly impressed with my initial results. Best wishes to you on your weight loss journey.
