I'm 75, overweight and don't exercise much. I've had diabetes 2 for about 1-1/2 years now. I have no heart problems and my cholesterol is good. My diabetes is not always under control but rarely does it go over 200. It's high more than it's ever low. I'm a ten-year survivor of breast cancer so I don't want to risk getting that again. I would like to know if it's more dangerous for me to take Saxena at my age? Would the lesser dose in Victoza be safer for me? Is there any information about women my age being at a higher risk? I just started taking this medication. No symptoms so far.
TIA,
