so I had the liletta inserted on January 20th. it did hurt like normal cramps and I had some cramping and bleeding for about 4 days after. but here's the weird part. I normally started my period on the 14th of February and all was good. a week later it was still heavy and I was started to get concerned. now it's 11 days later and it's still heavy and has been continuous. I checked to make sure it was in the right place and it was. but I'm still concerned with the amount of bleeding is going on. The liletta page said that there would be some spotting and irregular bleeding, but does it mean this much? please help me with this.
This can certainly happen but it sounds like you're bleeding a lot so you really should get some medical advice. You might need to do something about it or you might need to wait it out. No one here can really tell you that because we don't know your history and we can't see you for an exam. So I would advise you to talk to your doctor soon and just tell him or her you're not comfortable with this and you're worried. You might need to go in or you might need some medication or something but the first step has to be calling your doc. I really think you should do it Monday morning. You don't have to wait when you're having worrying symptoms. Just make the call and you can hopefully get this sorted out soon. Hormones have strange effects on a lot of people and we're all just a little different but those little differences can mean a wide range of outcomes for a lot of things. So call soon and in the mean time drink a lot of water and don't do anything too strenuous. Don't wear yourself out and try to keep a lot of nutrients in your body. That doesn't mean vitamin pills. It means eating good food. You know what to do, fruits and vegetables and all that. But hopefully you can get an answer Monday and if you need to go in hopefully it will be soon.
