Early last month I was due to get the depo shot for the second time, but I didn't get it. About a week and a half ago my bf and I had sex and right after I lightly bled. It was just a light pinkish color, and it's been happening randomly since; only it's not been every day. It's so light that I only wear a panty liner in case it does happen. I've felt light cramping for the last three to four days. I've read a lot online and what I've been feeling sounds a lot like implantation spotting, but I've still gotten two negative pregnancy tests. I have a young daughter, so I'm tired as is; and I breast feed so having any breast pains from pregnancy wouldn't exactly stand out to me. If anybody can help me, it would be greatly appreciated!
If you are fully breastfeeding your child then it is unlikely you would become pregnant.
With regards to the Depo, it can take up to 18 months to regain your fertility, although for some women, it is much sooner. The spotting you are seen is due to the decreasing hormone level in your body. It can be erratic spotting, light, or even (as in my case for 2 years solid) very heavy. That was my first time having a 2 yr break from Depo. On my second break, I used a natural remedy that sorted me out & balanced my hormones. At least, I assume that's what sorted me, as it was the only thing I did differently.
It's not impossible that it could be implantation bleeding, but I personally doubt it, so soon,
