Hi, Shan! I never had any interactions occur when I was taking Lexapro and, being a strep throat queen, I'm always on different antibiotics. Erythromycin and levofloxacin, though, can cause an extremely rare cardiac arrhythmia in a very few people when taken with Lex.
Was there a particular antibiotic that concerns you or do you feel you had an interaction?
You can use this Interaction Checker tool if you want to look up certain antibiotics combined with escitalopram:

Hey guys, oh that's not put me at ease, I've used the drug interaction helper but it's come up with no interactions. The hospital prescribed with with the antibiotics and didn't take much notice to my depressant the nurse did take the name of it down. The only interaction I've had is I've felt a bit of a heigheten in my anxiety, worrying a bit more than usual since I've been on lexpraxo that's all.
Thanks guys :)
WELL , I have been suffering from a chest infection for weeks but my doc wont script antibiotics while I am on any AD, like you I now take Escitalopram at 10MG the is interaction between most mixed meds even over the counter meds , Don't quote me but I think 1 cancels out the other so either escitalopram wont work or the antibiotic wont , remember this is England we don't even script wellbutrin only for not smoking , has they proved heart probs on a few patients
Doctors and pharmacists may not be perfect, some of them make mistakes, but they are 99.9% more knowledgeable and experienced than any of us, any layperson, and quack articles written on the internet by wannabes.
Go with what your doctors and druggists tell you! I don't care who tells you what happened to her aunt's babysitter's sister's fiancees's teacher's daughter when she took... xyz...
