sorry. I have taken 20 mgs. Of Lexapro with success for years for the SAD & anxiety. Due to very recent quite traumatic circumstances in my personal & professional life, I was thinking of asking to up my dose to 30 mg. / day of Lexapro temporarily? Has anyone else been on or is on 30 mg/day? If so, what have your experiences been?
I went through a similar thing years ago. I asked for an increase and went up 5mg and gave gave it 2-3 months, which wound up being enough. That was me and we're all different. Discuss it at length with your Dr., maybe a smaller increment will be a good choice for you like it was for me. You can always increase, just give it a good amount of time to adjust, and I stick by 2-3 months as a good allowance.
