she crys all the and when she gets upsets she bites herself, pulls her hair, and scrates herself she is 5 and we found out last year she had underactive thyroids
Hi there - Sounds like something else is going on with your daughter... either a behavioral or processing disorder, maybe some sort of possible abuse (not sayin' her parents... babysitters?), or she may have some other physical pain. This does not sound like just hypothyroid, by any means. Anything going on at pre-school (if she goes) or with friends she plays with. I'd look at absolutely everything in her environment and every possibility, both mentally & physically because that sounds kind of like a Behavioral Conduct Disorder or some sort of abuse whenever there is self-mutilating, self-harm or flagellation going on & can indicate extreme self-loathing, among other symptoms. She is extremely emotionally and/or physically uncomfortable, which could indicate an serious condition. I'll pray for your answers. God Bless.
