severe chronic pain patient was told no longer available by pharmacist. But, nothing here indicates that. Is this true? If so, is Opana still available? Thanks in advance.
Hello ivita and welcome to DC. I believe this is still available and usually prescribed to cancer patients. I believe Opana is still available and as with lots of these more aggressive forms of pain relievers... harder to get prescribed. I am sure you are aware it is now the most widely abused pain killer out there. It used to be OxyContin... but has been surpassed now by Opana. So sad but true for people who have illnesses and other conditions where these stronger pain killers are warranted but just harder to get prescribed.
