Good Morning and thanks for your reply. My father Age is 74 Years and PSA level is 19.5mg. Doctor has given Leuprolide Acetate injection 22.5 mg( 3 Months) for one course with caluran 50 tablets. It is correct dose or not and more over generally how many days take places the PSA report to normal condition. or is there any alternative tablets. Is it tablets compulsory?. He is a diabetic patient and main every thing in control and my father is living happily and doing his work regularly. He is not a drinker, Smoker and pure vegetarian. Please kindly guide us regarding Advanced prostate Cancer. Is there any life threat?. It is for our Personal issue only.
There is no set amount of courses required. Sure there's side effects, I don't know of any med that doesn't have them, lol. Here is the site with the side effects. https://www.drugs.com/sfx/leuprolide-side-effects.html Just remember, there is nothing saying you will get any of them, and certainly not all of them. They have to report anything that is told to them from patients, and sometimes there is no proof its from the med.
