I have been on letrozole for 12 years. How long is enough?

While it seems a long time to be swallowing a tablet it is obviously working well for you which is fanatastic. You should talk with your cancer specialist about the risks of stopping and staying on the medicine and together have a long-term plan.

The only problem is that my optic nerves have shrunk to very small and glaucoma has developed. I have been reading that a lack of estrogen can cause this. This now becomes a quality of life issue plus lng term lack of estrogen may lead to dementia from what I have been reading.
