my grandma has a blood clot from what she was told and she wants to know what the redness on her legs is cause from and what can she do to ease the pain in her right leg?
The blood clot can make the leg red, swollen and warm to touch. She should keep her legs elevated and that should help with the pain. Has she seen her Dr and is she on anticoagulants (blood thinners)? Blood clots in the legs are nothing to mess with. They can dislodge and move to other areas like the heart lungs or brain and be fatal. She should NEVER massage her legs.
