I think I may have pulled my leg a little at work. But my leg is hurting really bad now below my knee. What should I do?
If it is something that happened at work, you need to report it to your supervisor right away. the sooner after injury that you report it, the better! They will usually have you fill out a form and will probably either send you in to a free standing clinic like Concentra or whoever they contract with or the hospital. Whichever one handles their workmens comp claims. Filing with WC will get them to pay for your medical care for a work injury. WC is not your friend however. They may give you some treatment especially if it is a short term injury like a pulled muscle but if it is anything chronic they will get you out of the system as soon as they can. If you decide not to go through WC and go through your own private insurance, dont tell them you injured it at work or they wont want to pay for it. If you do decide to go it on your own then you might want to go to Urgent Care or the ER or even your primary care Dr and have them examine it and do what they think is necessary as far as tests.
