I am currently using the Nuvaring for a method of birth control. I leave it in for 3 weeks and take it out for one, with my in and out day being Friday. Because of new years, I wanted to push off my period and didn't remove it until Monday. I got my period as usual a few days after removing it and it is now Friday and I would like to put it back in so that I can keep my normal routine going. Is this safe and will I still be protected or should I wait until Monday (a full 7 days) before reinserting it? Is It okay to only take a 4 day break?
Only left Nuvaring out for 4 days instead of 7?
