I was really worried cause can't been seen for another 2 weeks and having heavy bleeding and clotting!
Nothing major in 2 weeks over due other than you can no longer count on it to protect you and when you have your new device placed, it will be like starting over and you will need to use back up protection for a week or so again. If you get it replaced in the time frame, there is no disruption in pregnancy coverage but since you are late, you will need back up. If you leave a device in for YEARS over due, it can encapsulate and form dense scar tissue or it can migrate to a different spot but that wont happen in this little bit of time so no worries-it takes many years for things like this to occur and it doesnt happen in everyone. The bleeding and clotting is just an indication of the fact that hormones levels circulating in your body from the implant have dropped off because the implant is not active any longer and your body is going back to its natural normal cycle patterns.
