I have a pill bottle of Latuda that read 30 pills. I counted 29 pills in the bottle meaning I had only taken one out of the bottle. Now it was filled on 9/10/16. I do not remember if my doctor had prescribed me previous bottles before this one but I know that its been along time (probably since the date that it was filled) since I last took it. Is it a good idea to just start taking them now? I think that I should because there was a reason my doctor prescribed them to me in the first place and the reasoning for stop taking them was possibly irresponsible. If these pills do for me what they are meant for than it will be a huge benefit for me and my familys well being. I read the papers on it saw what could be a bad side effect so I know what to look for and could tell my doc right away.
Yes Good idea to check with the doctor first just incase your taking something now that you should not take with it.Or since you don't even remember taking the one you want to make sure there was not a reason you stopped it. This is one of the medications that can give you some side effects that wear off after a few weeks. But can take up to 6 weeks to get a steady blood level where it helps you the most. Good luck.
