I've been on birth control pills for around 4 months, but I often (almost constantly) take them late. It's a bad habit that I've been trying to fix; but on the day that my boyfriend and I had sex, I realized that I had missed my pill by 4 hours. I took it as soon as I remembered and we also used a condom. I know that late pills can increase your risk of pregnancy than taking them at a usual time, so I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to my risk of pregnancy (don't know if this pertains to anything, but I've also been feeling a little nauseous lately).
Time would help. How much late and when you take them late is it around the same time. The object is to take the pills 24 hrs apart, not at a specific time. If you decide on 5, for example, and take it at 7 every day, then its not late, its still 24 hrs apart. You're using condoms so the two together should protect you.
