This morning I had a pain in my eye. I go to the bathroom and look in the mirror. I have a large bump on my eyelid. I poke it and whatever it is moves wherever I push it so it's not on my eyelid but in my eye. I push it toward my tearduct and gently push it out. It pops out and it is about the size of a garbanzo bean, pink in color, with a small white tip at the end (kinda looks like a pimple but white and clear-ish). The bean thing is also connected by a thing that I can only describe as "like an ambilical cord". I freaked out when I saw what came out of my eye and gently tugged it off the "ambilical cord" and I feel fine but... what was this?? Help??? Do I see a doctor?
I agree, put the little "bean" in a small clean jar or zip lock baggie and see an ophthalmologist asap and take it with you to show him/her. I worked for an eye Doc/surgeon for years and I am not certain what this could be. A bump on the eyelid can be a hordeolum or chalazion (like a "stye") but a stye doesnt sound like what you have there. They may want to biopsy that tissue you pushed out to see what it is. Oh and if you would, post back and tell me what they said! I am dying of curiosity here!
