They are two completely different drugs that can be used in combination to treat certain conditions.
Wellbutrin is a antidepressant, Lamictal a Mood Stabilizer. I am on both, part of my cocktail to help with my Bipolar1.
Hi, Patty! Lamotrigine (Lamictal) is actually an anticonvulsant, but works very well as a mood stabilizer. Wellbutrin is an antidepressant.
These types of drugs are often used in combination to control mood swings and fight depression and/or mania.
Best wishes, WCV
