I'm currently on 200 mg a day and it's not working
I'm on one hundred fifty. I tried the extended release and had a SEVERELY negative reaction.
My doctor has said that she has several patients in the four hundred range.
For the extended release version, max dose is sixteen hundred per day, split into two doses.
There is a different between whether you are taking it for psychiatric reasons, or for epilepsy, but the bottom line is that there is clearly wiggle room for you, should your doctor agree to work with you on it.
