... I feel pretty good (also on 20mg lexapro) but I think I could feel better. I'm wondering what a 'normal' therapeutic dose is for most peeps
I am on 75mg but I also take Latuda, thorazine, trazadone and Xanax PRN. Any higher than 75mg and I break out in a nasty rash.
I've read that the therapeutic does is 200 mg . I'm on 300 mg... the dosage also depends on how you feel and your weight is a factor too. If your smaller you should take a smaller dose and if you are bigger a larger dose. I hope that was helpful :)
I take 150mg but I am on 1500mg of depakote also which increases the lamictal. My doctor told me it's about doubled. I have been on 400mg before too. Lamictal has literally saved my life.
I was taking 250 and just went up to 300. Feeling pretty good. Went
My prescription is to take 150mg=300 mg in am; 150mg=300 pm.
I have found that if I take both of the 150mg's they makes me dizzy, so I wait 2 hr to take the second. I wait til bedtime to take the pm dose, and make sure it has been 12 hrs after the morning dose.
I take (lamotrigine) lamictal for petit mal epilepsy.
I'm taking Lamictal now too. Right now i'm only taking 50 mg at bedtime. I was on it once before and was taking 400 mg a day. I've read that anything over 200 a day is a waste of time and money. I tend to agree. Let us know what happens. I wish you well.
