Does anyone have efficacy problems with the current generic versions of Wellbutrin they did not have with the branded? The FDA pulled Teva & Watson's versions several years ago, but at least 4-5 others remain on the market. The FDA allowed those companies to conduct their own bioequivalency studies to remain on the market, but that does not equate to efficacy. After 20 years on the drug, my doctor switched me to the generic and it worked so poorly I may as well have been taking nothing. They switched me back to the branded again and I have been fine.
I used to take Wellbutrin and other it stopes working for me. Same thing for my husband. My doctor said many patients have had the same complaint and so we tried name brand only and it worked for my husband again. However, I haven't had a response, but I'm also on some new necessary medication since I stopped which I think is the problem for me.
