I had the I DEP procedure 10 years ago
Definitely go see your orthopedic doctor and/or chiropractor. They will know what to do for your pain. Are you taking any meds at all for pain? If you're unable to see a doctor soon try a heating pad or a warm bath if you can get down that. I hope you're able to find some relief soon I know exactly what you're going through. I also have lower back problems. Good luck
I have hemochromatosis which is an iron overload disease. It has affected my organs, but also has caused arthritis bad in all my joints. I have degenerated and bulging disc in my lower back, and disc problems in my neck, some probably from accidents, a bad fall from a barn, and just wear and tear of use. I have had injections in my lower back and hip and would not do that again I do not think. They hit a nerve and it hurt and caused problems. They wanted to put a cage in my neck, I don't think so. I am not into any materials in my body that did not come with it just let at age 50. My doctor is great. He works with me on a pain contract for a low dose mild pain meds, a anti-inflammatory drug. Basic ibuprofen. I will take a dose of predisone for major flare ups. I use heat, rubs, ice as needed. I went to PT for both lower back and neck. I know the exercises now, so I just do them also for any flare ups. I have a tens unit for lower back and a over the door cervical traction unit from amazon. These seem to help for now. Not sure if you have tried all of these yet, but thought I would mention them.
