My blood pressure has been nominally high in the past five years. However, in my 6th cycle of Kyprolis, my blood pressure has spiked to 225/103. It isn't responding well to increased Atenolol.
Under the professional information, it does state an increased risk of cardiac side effects, especially in those with previous heart disease or other congestive issues. Make sure you tell your doctor, especially if you're to receive another cycle. They may not want to give you any more until your blood pressure is in your more normal range.
