I fell on my knee while playing lacrosse a few days ago. I felt a deep pop, it did hurt at first, but than I walked away fine. Now I can hardly stand walking on my knee. The bottom left side of my knee (right knee) hurts when I bend or move it. The top of my knee hurts when I apply pressure to my knee by standing. I have been icing it and walking on it. The pain has been getting worse and worse. There is little/no swelling.
You describe pain above/behind knee cap with increased pain from applied pressure or walking.
Partially torn suprapatella ligament
Damaged bone or cartilage inside or under the knee cap
Cystic accumulation of fluids post trauma that is not resolving.
At least you are not indicating you are feeling something loose/floating in your joint.
An MRI may need to be gotten so you can know what to do and how to protect your joint health.
