... had to have a steroid shot. It slowed down my flexion and now have scar tissue and am now facing have manipulative under anthesis. I have worked hard in PT and am an athlete am wondering about best options. Should I work on my own for a few months or seek out manipulative. I have read conflicting post on outcomes.
I have a friend who has had her frozen shoulders manipulated - and got some movement back, but not a lot. The knee is tricky - you don't get much time before scar tissue builds and you have loss of motion, as you well know. What are they telling you? I had massage therapy done after my neck and shoulder surgeries - for 10 years all told. And the scar tissue, which had hardened all over my upper back and shoulder, is now gone.
