It's really not the same for any two people, so many factors to be considered about each individual. All you can do is try and see how it works (or not) for you. That's how it is with most of these meds.
I've been on both, I didn't see any real difference. They both get the job done. I'm now on Klonopin, works great for me. Is the Xanax not working for you? Discuss with your doctor and see what he thinks you should do.
Personally I think xanax acts faster and is pretty strong from the beginning so it might be better for panic attacks klonopin seems to hit me slower so is better for general anxiety. Also depends on the strength .
