I am 74 yrs old,i amtrying toget off klonopin as i have been told it leads to dementia;iam finding it very difficult
Not really but it does have effects on people over 65 so they try not to use any of the family of drugs that Klonopin is in. But myself with the benefits I get far out way the problems it might cause. I have seen ton's of patients on this far after the age and still don't believe it. But if you do want to get by on at least less have the doctor help you taper it down it is hard to do on your own. No matter what age you are. but Dementia no. The media at its worse again.
