I am currently going through withdrawl from opana, I would like to know exactly what my cronic pain level is. but i abuse the opana for the energy it gives me. so recently went to hosp for help with withdrawla and was put on adivan and effexor because doc and i really believe that depression is a part of the issue. If i need to be on a paon killer for the rest of my life i would like to be able to control the usage of it, this is not the person i ever was before, and dont want to become again,
Then getting your depression under control is imperative so that you don't self medicate. Sam-E is probably the number one OTC med recommended. I would keep taking the effexor, rather then trying natural ways without the effexor, just because you can be sure how much you're getting and what to take. With the natural supplements this isn't always the case. Then when you know if you need something for pain, see a pain management dr. Often depression causes pain.
