I went to the ER last night because I wasn’t feeling well. I was having chest pain and it hurt to take deep breaths. They swabbed me for the flu and then gave me 60mg/2mL of Ketorolac (Toradol) via IM injection. It was burning at the site but then I got sleepy and took a nap. Well I was discharged about two hours later and I was feeling uneasy when I got home. Stomach upset and just jittery. I finally fell asleep for the night. Well, when I got up that morning, I was feeling ok but as the day went on, I began to have a headaches followed by an earache. I had some minor back pain as well. I went to check my blood pressure as I normally do after having post-partum preeclampsia. It was lower than usual. It’s been running between 138/83 to 125/77... Tosay it was 118/65 and then it was 126/66 as measured on my other arm. Pulse rate was 80 for both readings. I feel a little off and I’m trying not to panic. I even called the hospital to double check that they administered the right medicine to me. Has anyone heard of this? I know it usually causes high blood pressure but not lower.
